I have an uncommon last name. While on a business trip in Spring 2009, one of the vice presidents of the company I work for asked me if I was related to someone named Millicent, who had the same last name as me. I blurted out, “NO, but did you know Millicent is Barbie’s middle name and that this month marks the 50th anniversary of her debut?” I am such. a. NERD.
